Scrolling
Scrolling through text or lists is controlled by the biNu Server.
When the server controls the scrolling it will break the content into a series of discrete pages. Each page will display a part of the content and the user can use the scroll buttons to move up and down. Server scrolling is ideally suited to basic phones with limited screen display. The first page displays slightly faster but scrolling up and down is slightly slower. It is well suited to pages with lots of links, in particular menus.
Server scrolling is the default method of scrolling.
By default one press of the up/down keys will advance the content by just under a full page with only the top/bottom line of text repeated. The size of the scrolling step can be controlled using the vScrollStep parameter of the
Server scrolling also allows scrolling left and right across content that is wider than the handset's screen width.
