Demo of biNu client
The biNu Browsing Experience
The video below shows biNu application content being served to a biNu mobile phone client. Whilst the mobile phone is an emulator from Sun, the client it's running is the genuine biNu java application that users download (from GetJar for example) and install on their phone. And more importantly, the biNu java client is retrieving the content in real time. So what you see here is the actual, real-world experience that a mobile phone user will have. It's not a canned demo, and the video has not been edited or sped up in any way.
Side-by-side speed comparison
One of biNu’s greatest strengths is how quickly it runs on cheaper, older phones. This clip from a technology conference shows how much faster the user experience is on biNu compared to the more traditional way of browsing content on a mobile phone. It's our Google Search app which runs 4-5 times faster than the standard browser on a low-end 2G phone. Take a look at the live side-by-side comparison:
biNu can display almost any language, independent of the language and font capabilities of your phone. How? The characters that the biNu mobile client displays are received from the biNu Service as images along with rendering instructions on where to paint them on the screen.
